The Flege Farm

We're back from our trip. Wow, what a great time! Gigi's playhouse was wonderful! For many of you that don't know what it is, it's a place for families to go to who have a child with Down Syndrome. Gigi, is a four year old spitfire who is the whole reason this place was started. Her parents wanted her to be able to go to a place where she was the majority and not the minority. They have built a wonderful literacy program for kids with Down Syndrome as well. The place is filled with sooooo many toys, a stage, dress up clothes, a play kitchen, tunnels, a slide, computers, arts and crafts, nintendo, kareoke, and the list goes on. Simply amazing.
Not only was the place amazing, so were the families we met. They are truly our family now as well. The connection we have because of your kiddos is something so special....a bond we only know. Let me say, that was one of the most fun and rewarding weekends I have ever had!
