The other night Rylee and I were sitting in the family room wathching tv. She was rocking Mayson like she does everynight and we were talking about her school day. She sits right next to a little boy with Down syndrome in her class. Anyway, she always tells me the new things he learns and does each day. She is so proud of his achievements. One thing lead to another and I asked her if she wishes Mayson wasnt born with Down Syndrome. She said, "No, mama, I love her just the way she is." "She couldn't be more perfect." Gosh, I love that girl and the love she has for her baby sister is amazing..........

Both R and J are very unbiased children. It's as if they don't have their "blinders" on. But remember, they weren't raised around any prejudices either (except against the Packers), so you and daddy have to give yourself credit as well.

Okay that is exactly what I want for my Emma. I can only hope that is whom we raise Gabe to be and that years from now he will say the same thing.

I'm in love with your girls...both of them.

Amy - this is just perfect! And - I love that Rylee is so excited about her friend w/ds's accomplishments. I love it when our kids can see past a disability and find the beauty of the person who is inside!!! I love it!!!

This is what we call a 'Warm and Fuzzy' story. It gives you warm fuzzies just thinking about your sweet girls for the rest of the day!
