We go to a small lutheran church here in our little town. It's such a nice congregation and we love our pastor. Rylee received her bible in church a few weeks ago. This is a big thing to me and I tried to make it a big thing for her as well. I remember as a kid, getting my bible and working so hard those next few years to be confirmed. I had 40 people in my confirmation class and it was so much fun on Wednesday night. I have alot of great memories then and I learned so much about the bible!
Now, as I see many of my friends with their children, I dont see them go to church like we used to , or have their children attend sunday school or confirmation. Iam not quite sure why? I hope I can continue to keep my kids in church and sunday school and for them to know the importance of it. I pray I can do that!

    Congratulations! What a big accomplishment!

I, too, wonder why religion seems to have dwindled in part of our generation - not sure why. I would say that most of my friends who were members of my religion growing up are still active in it, but many of my friends who belonged to different denominations have changed religions or are for the most part not part of any religious denomination at all.... I know that my own children may not embrace all my beliefs, but I will teach them what I can, and then it is up to them to choose who and what they will believe in....

I'm excited for your cute girl, and can't wait to see her confirmation pics!!!
