It came to my attention by someone that I have not updated my blog in a while! Sorry!! It's been so busy here lately. Then on top of it all, Mayson got sick and I have had a baby stuck to my hip for 5 days, 5 days of fever, 5 nights of no sleep, no eating, coughing, crying, lethargic... not my Maymay. After 2 different doctor visits and a phone call to the Doc on call she got some meds and is being treated for pneumonia and a lovely ear infection. It's been hard on both of us. I am not used to her being sick and she isnt used to being sick either! She has been so healthy. She still can't tell me what hurts or whats wrong but as a mom you just have those mother instincts and pick up on those cues. She really scared us on Saturday... Not eating or drinking, rolling her eyes back, high fever....that was a long night.
You can tell by the look in her eyes, she still isnt up to par. We have had 24 hours of antibiotics so I am hoping tomorrow will be a better day!
School started today for the kids after a nice needed Christmas break. Mother nature brought some ice and so we even got to sleep in due to a 2 hour delay! I wasnt ready for them to go back. It was nice not having a schedule or having to get up at the butt crack of dawn. I guess all things must come to and end, dammit!

I didn't realize that Mayson felt so bad. I thought since she was playing with her toys that she didn't feel too bad.

Justin has been hanging on me too off and on. It is a guessing game sometimes to figure out what he wants.

Oh no, Amy - had no idea she was so sick. Poor MayMay! Send her a get well hug from Elliot and I! We too have had junk - boys for weeks and me with a sinus infection and said antibiotics through our Christmas break. Back at it here too with the almighty schedule! Sending a prayer for dear Mayson and you too, momma! xo

Poor Mayson! She does look like she feels ucky! Hopefully it will get better from here. I don't like getting up early either, but Chelsea insists on waking up during the 6 oclock hour EVERY morning ... even if she's up until midnight! She's crazy. My son wouldn't get up this morning on his first day back. After letting him sleep w/ his alarm beeping for a half an hour, I finally went in and threw Chelsea on his bed! That works every time!!!

    Hang in there mama!

oh. sweetie pie. I know it's so hard when they are sick, but cherish the time you have to hold and cuddle her into feeling better.

I'm sorry Mayson wasn't feeling well. You feel so helpless when our kids are sick. I hope she is feeling better. Noah & I are sending lots of hugs her way.
PS. I can officially claim to be the worst person to keep their blog updated. My last entry was for Noah's birthday back in OCT. Just crown my QUEEN SLACKER!
