Mayson having Down syndrome has been such a blessing. We have become a part of a whole new family.... our DS family. Friendships that have come from that family is something that most people don't get to experience.. its amazing! Over 2 years ago, we met Chandos and Emmalee for the first time. We were lucky enough that they decided to drive several hours to come stay the weekend with us!!! We had a great time letting the kids play and catching up! Rebecca and Elainah even came over to join us!! Our three girls is what has brought us together. Friendships I hope will live on forever!!!!
The Chalk sign Rylee made for CJ and Emmalees's arrival!
Mayson patiently waiting for them to arrive on the front porch.. and I mean patiently waiting... CJ too a unexplained detour.. hehe
Waiting in the car while Rylee had her soccer game in the rain. Thank goodness for DVD players and Dora!
Emma wanted to pick Mayson up all weekend!!
Emmalee, Mayson and Elainah with their matching shirts!!
Come on Elainah....look at the camera!!!!!
Couldnt resist taking this photo!
Sweet Emma...

6:24 PMI just love the pictures. I wish we could have been there but maybe next time. Next year I have another child graduating but she is not as involved in everything so should be able to. It would also be nice if Hope does not have a cast on. I think it would have been a bummer for her because she is use to being active.

6:55 PMMayson is adorable. She reminds me of my daughter who just turned 21 and has DS too. She has the same problem with her eye(turning in) that Mayson has. I want to encourage you to go to the eye doctor. April started wearing her glasses before she was 2 when patching didn't work. We also have 2 boys with DS that we adopted. Susan
