Little Miss Maymay LOVES books. This kid sits and looks at them longer than most kids could. Not only does she look at the pages but she studies the front and back cover, the texture of the book, the shape of the book.... etc. She also will say "book book book" while looking at her book. I guess I know what to get her for her second birthday. Right now her favorite book is her book we use at therapy and books with babies in them. Does your child have a favorite book? If so, what is it?

So cute!! I especially love Mayson's pigtails : ) Ella's favorite book is I Can, Can You? It has pictures of children with Down syndrome doing different things, eating, bathing, etc. Ella will say "eye" and point at all the kids eyes, and then she pats the pictures of them and says "awwww." It's really cute!! Hey by the way, when we were up in Spokane I met some other mother's of kids with Ds. This one has a little girl the same age as Ella and her name is Piper, she says that she is on an online forum or message board and there is a lady with a little girl named Mayson, and she calls her MayMay, is that you???? I can't remember the moms name, anyhow it came up because she looked at Ella and said she reminded her a lot of this little girl Mayson. Anyhow, if it's not you then there is another little cutie named Maymay : )

Hi Amy, it was nice to pop on your blog and see cutie pie Mayson enjoying her books. Noah too enjoys books, his #1 is Itsy Bitsy Spider and #2 One Lucky Ducky. He likes to grab my finger and use it to point to the pictures. Have a nice weekend. Terry

Gabi loves books, too! Maybe Mayson was thirsty since she kept looking at the sippy cup. I just love that girl of yours!

Oh, love those pics. So wonderful. Interesting, Elliot had taken such an interest in books too. Much UNlike his sister who didn't show any interest until she hit the 4-year mark.

    Hugs...
